The Golf & Country Club is located just past the Don Mueang International Airport and takes a little over 1 hour to reach from downtown Bangkok. The re-grassing of the layout together with a clubhouse facelift and new management in 2018 makes this Course a good choice for those looking for an above average golf experience, in Bangkok at a reasonable price.
The 7,238-yard layout features native Zoysia grass fairways and ultra-dwarf TiffEagle greens. The wide fairways are flanked by large mature trees. While strategically placed bunkers, and the natural lakes and streams, form hazards that come into play on most holes of the otherwise flattish course.
The 17th, a 568 yard Par-5 (Handicap 1) is the golf courses signature hole. With the longer hitters able to reach the green in two strokes. Most golfers will lay with their third shot being played right of the water which runs down the left side of the fairway and green.
The Pro Shop offers a range of products to suit most golfers needs. Practice facilities include grass driving range, short-game area, and two large practice greens with bunkers.
The restaurant within the main clubhouse provides visitors to the Course, a venue to relax before or after a round. All day dining options include Thai, Asian and International cuisine. A well-stocked wine cellar offers fine wines from around the Globe, which is a rarity at even the more expensive and exclusive golf clubs in Thailand.
